It’s a Vostok Komandirskie! Pretty sure it’s the absolute cheapest mechanical watch available today with an in-house movement and a decent history. I’m genuinely surprised at the overall quality and accuracy of it. Keeps time right with my 7s26 Seikos and 2824-2 Fortis (so within about 10 seconds per day).

My 7s26 is gaining about a miniute per hour. I took it apart and tried to regulate it but if it goes any slower it just stops. I think it's pretty much fucked. Where's the best place to get one of these?

Ebay, any seller from Russia (I used Zenitar)... and it was like $35 all in :)
Of course the strap that comes with it is garbage, but a cheap NATO solves that, despite the irony of putting one on an ex-soviet military watch.

Nice russian watch! I’ve got an old Raketa/Pakema one in the shop; can’t wait for it to come back!

Nice!
I’ve got an old Raketa 2614.H sitting around somewhere. Unfortunately she took an unplanned swim at some point and is all ticked out.

Seiko 5's usually live forever... Have it serviced, any watchmaker should be able to handle it.

It’s a Seiko 5 Speed Racer so it hardly seems worth it. It was like $65 - getting it serviced is bound to cost at least that much. If it was a Monster or SNK007 or even a 5 Sports it would make more sense. Unless there is somewhere I can mail it to that services them cheap and well.

Might actually contact Seiko service center, in my experience they are surprisingly reasonable.... But at that price, it would be likely more than logically worth it.

It’s not my first :)
My old DD, retired from front-line service due to bezel scratches. Still keeps great time after 2 years of almost daily wear.
